Epilogue is the best restaurant in the Willamette Valley. The food is great, and the service is even better. This is more than a restaurant; this is a vital force in our community. Keep an eye out for when Jon serves Philly Cheesesteaks--the absolute best. This is a group of people care deeply about their craft and doing good in the world.
I've eaten here twice and each time the food was so good! Has a fairly small menu but that's okay, there is something for everyone. Prices are reasonable and now that they're out South I intend to visit way more often!
We have been here plenty of times in the past, and unfortunately I never got around to writing a review - that ends tonight! We took my significant other's mom out to dinner tonight and it was nothing short of spectacular. We have never had a bad experience at Epilogue, and continue to be impressed by the high quality drinks; the craft and care put into each drink, and the quality of food and care in making sure every ingredient shines in a dish, no matter how small. We ordered the West Philadelphia, Porkchop, Walleye Fish and Chips special, a side of Beet Soup, and then a Pecan Dacquoise and Peach Shortcake special as desserts, along with their brandy old fashions and the Sand & Sun cocktail. The pictures do not do the food justice as to how amazing each dish is, each drink is, and the mastery in executing these all. I cannot give Epilogue enough stars to express how great they are, continue to be and we know they will be on our next visit. Jonathan and his team are culinary savants.
Some of the best food I have eaten. The arepa, the buttermilk biscuit with the pimento cheese, and the Dreams of Warmer Weather sandwich were amazing. Great service, beautiful location, friendly staff. It was fantastic!
We were able to be seated right away. The food was beautiful and delicious. The server seemed to hover longer than needed, but I think maybe just an awkwardness? Very kind and helpful though.
If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Super friendly staff, hip but still relaxed atmosphere, AND THE FOOD! I had the gluten free chicken and waffles (I'm not GF but they are on the menu that way) and I was absolutely blown away. Hands down the best chicken and waffles I've ever had. I also had the orange is the new black velvet cocktail and it was as tasty as it was pretty to look at. I wish they were closer to my house, I would make Epilogue a regular dining experience!
Huge shout out to Epilogue Kitchen and Cocktails ! My fiancé and I went there for their NYE tasting menu and it was fantastic! We ordered the duck breast, lamb laarb, scallop, and the fried black rice. The portions were perfect for splitting, the service was awsome and the lamb laarb was KILLER. The best part was we also won 2 of the raffle items! Can't wait to see what we'll make with this pork tenderloin and this venison stew meat! Thank you for an awesome start to the new year and I can't wait to see what delicious things you guys have planned for us; you're amazing!
Epilogue's culinary creativity is done with purpose and intentionality!! I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm so glad I indulged. Everything was delicious! I especially enjoyed the soulful spin on burrata. As if the savory greens beneath the bed of mozzarella weren't enough deliciousness, the fried chicken skin atop of it all was just enough to make you close your eyes and sit with the flavors. Crab cakes were filled with delicious crab. The drink menu had something for everyone and portrayed lots of whimsy and character. Rumspringa, who got the keys to my beemer!! I'm ashamed to say I drove back the next day and dined again, hoping the staff wouldn't recognize my greediness. Lol! Don't walk, run to Epilogue!!
